Humanity versus idiocracy
𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗔!
It is not my direct business to interfere in your politics, but I feel it is a duty of honor to tell you that decisions made at the highest level, under the pressure of populist currents, tend to lead American and global society down a worrisome path. All signs are reminiscent of a scenario familiar from the movie 𝗜𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆.
A state policy that relies on hypocrisy and lies, which interferes with the powers of the people—legislative, judicial, and the press—erodes the fundamental values of humanity: truth, honor, sincerity, knowledge, and compassion. The pressure that public figures are subjected to, as is the case with Jimmy Kimmel, Harvard University, or CNN, should give you serious pause.
Without constructive but determined opposition, in which you express your opinion with insistence and reasoned arguments, humanity risks letting the 𝗜𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 scenario become a reality.
You must do everything possible to bring everyone who has felt humiliated and wronged to the "negotiation table," starting by telling them: "I'm sorry." Then, without that useless pride that usually ruins our lives, you must find out what displeases them. To recognize your imperfection is not an act of weakness, but of power. This is an innovative attitude, in the spirit of the new times toward which humanity is called. It is the new vision of our 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳—𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆—that calls us to peace and understanding, and the 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝘀 are among those who have embraced it with adoration and unconditional faith.
In the past, we, as humans, had a distorted vision of Divinity, the highest expression of the self. Those who saw it in the spirit of "an eye for an eye" can be justified by the very difficult living conditions, as well as the lack of access to an education in the spirit of fairness and respect for life. Now, however, the Divinity in our hearts can be seen closer to its real form, a form that can only be the expression of the sublime and of humanity's highest ideals. No matter how difficult it seems, especially since most conflicts between peoples have a religious root, the same compassionate attitude must be adopted between Jews and Palestinians, and between Russians and Ukrainians, and between Indians and Pakistanis and, of course, between Koreans, who are living a painful, unnatural split between brothers. Many generations ago, all these peoples, now in conflict, were part of a common lineage. But, unfortunately, through a distorted vision of Divinity, they eventually reached a conflict that has lasted for decades and even centuries.
People like you—people with families, with friends, with a joy for life—must be the unifier. If you set the example, politicians will follow, for if you are united, you will be able to easily take away their power if they do not listen to you.
